Considerate construction silver

Just two years after joining the Considerate Constructors Scheme (and following their first submission), the Redmond Group has been awarded a second silver company award.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Company and Supplier Awards are one of the most respected accolades in UK construction. They mark the achievements of construction sites, companies and suppliers who voluntarily register with the Scheme and agree to abide by the Code of Considerate Practice.

The Scheme is concerned with any area of construction activity that may have a direct or indirect impact on the image of the industry. It is designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements. The main areas of concern fall into three categories: the general public, the workforce and the environment.
On receipt of the award for Redmond Group, Mick McCarthy commented on Redmond Group’s commitment to the scheme:

“Winning the award means a great deal but we are most excited about how our industry is taking big steps to look after the wellbeing and safety of the general public and employees and to manage impacts on the environment. We are working hard to be absolute leaders in considerate construction.”
