Redmond Group has been selected as the first UK company to become a fully certified Victaulic installer, a status previously only designated to installers in the United States.
The growing partnership between Redmond Group and Victaulic opened discussions of further training opportunities. Redmond Group’s managing director Stephen Redmond, operations director Phil Hoad, and HSQE and Sustainability Director Mick McCarthy, will be participating in training at the Victaulic training centre in Belgium, where they will achieve full certification.
Victaulic is the world’s leading manufacturer of mechanical pipe-joining systems that eliminate the need for welding or flanging, allowing flame free pipe installation on or offsite. Victaulic’s pipe joining and flow control solutions optimise construction productivity and reduce risk, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Mick Maddams from Victaulic said: “We are looking forward to taking Redmond to the highest level of understanding of our products, to benefit the projects they work on and the clients they serve. Full certification is a UK first they can be very proud of”.
